Getting Started with the WholesaleX Registration Form Builder

WholesaleX provides a visual builder for creating registration and login forms for B2B, B2C, and other customer roles.

This quick-start guide covers the complete workflow: opening the builder, choosing a design, adding fields, and saving the form.

Open the Registration Form Builder

From your WordPress dashboard:

  1. Go to WholesaleX.
  2. Open the Registration Form tab.

You can also access the builder from WholesaleX → Overview by clicking Edit Registration Form in the Registration Form section.

The builder displays the Login form on the left and the Registration form on the right.

Choose Whether to Display the Login Form

Open the settings panel on the right and enable Enable Login Form when the registration page should also allow existing customers to sign in.

Disable it when you want to display only the Registration form.

The Login form is optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time.

Start with a Premade Template

Click Premade Template at the top of the builder to view the available designs.

Choose a template that matches your preferred layout and import it into the builder. You can still change its fields, text, colors, spacing, and other settings after importing it.

You can skip this step when you prefer to configure the existing design manually.

Add the Fields You Need

The default form contains the essential account fields. To collect additional customer or business information:

  1. Click the Plus (+) icon below the Registration form fields.
  2. Select a field from the Form Fields panel.
  3. Click the added field to configure it.

WholesaleX provides 22 available fields, including standard account fields and custom fields such as Text, Select, Checkbox, File, Number, and Date.

For instructions on adding, arranging, and removing fields, see How to Add and Manage Registration Form Fields in WholesaleX.

Configure the Form

After adding the required fields, you can continue customizing the form:

  • Edit the Login and Registration titles.
  • Configure account approval and login behavior.
  • Set redirects and messages.
  • Change the field and button appearance.
  • Customize the Registration and Login form colors.
  • Add conditional visibility rules to individual fields.

Each of these areas has a dedicated documentation page with its available options and setup instructions.

Save the Form

Click Save Changes in the upper-right corner of the builder after completing the setup.

Saving the form stores its design and configuration. It does not automatically create a public registration page.

To display the form on your website, see How to Publish the WholesaleX Registration and Login Form on a Page.

Check the Form Before Publishing

Preview the form from the frontend and confirm that:

  • The required fields are included.
  • The fields appear in the intended order.
  • The Login form is shown or hidden as required.
  • Required-field validation works.
  • The design displays correctly on desktop and mobile.
  • Registration follows the selected approval and redirect settings.

The tutorial video can remain near the beginning of this page, provided it shows the current WholesaleX interface and workflow.
