Selected WholesaleX fields can also appear on the default WooCommerce registration form and in the billing section of the checkout page. These controls are available inside the field’s WooCommerce Option section.
Supported Fields
The WooCommerce options are available for the following 10 fields:
- Other Email
- Select Role
- Text Area
- Text
- Radio
- File
- Checkbox
- Select
- Number
- Date
Note: The Other Email field is the additional custom Email field. It is different from the permanent Email field used as the customer’s main account email.
Open the WooCommerce Options
To access these settings:
- Open the WholesaleX Registration Form Builder.
- Add one of the supported fields or select an existing field in the form.
- From the Field Settings tab, scroll down to the WooCommerce Option section.
You will find the following controls:
- Add WooCommerce Registration
- Add Custom Field to Billing
- Required in Billing
Add a Field to the WooCommerce Registration Form
Enable Add WooCommerce Registration to display the selected field on the default WooCommerce registration form. For example, to collect a customer type during standard WooCommerce registration:
- Select the Select Role field.
- Scroll to WooCommerce Option.
- Enable Add WooCommerce Registration.
- Click Save Changes.
The Select Role field will then appear with the other fields on the WooCommerce registration form.
Add a Field to the WooCommerce Billing Form
Enable Add Custom Field to Billing to display the selected field in the billing section of the WooCommerce checkout page. For example, to collect a business reference number during checkout:
- Add or select a Text or Number field.
- Configure its label and field name.
- Enable Add Custom Field to Billing.
- Click Save Changes.
The field will then appear with the customer’s billing information during checkout.
Make the Billing Field Required
Enable Required in Billing when customers must complete the field before placing an order. This option should be used together with Add Custom Field to Billing. For example:

Do not make a field required unless the information is necessary for billing, tax processing, verification, or order fulfillment.
Always click Save Changes after configuring the WooCommerce options.
