Google reCAPTCHA is a powerful tool for protecting your website from abuse by automated bots. It is a quick and easy way to add an extra layer of security to your website. 

The reCAPTCHA system asks the user to complete a challenge before proceeding to the next page. This challenge can be anything from solving a math problem to selecting images. WholesaleX also has reCAPTCHA options for its users. We will look at the complete procedure of setting it up here.  

Step 1: Get Started with google recaptcha

Creating the necessary keys is the first step in setting up reCAPTCHA for WholesaleX. To do this, go to the Google reCAPTCHA website and click the Get started button. This will bring you to a page where you can create your reCAPTCHA keys.  

Step 2: Enter the Domain link

On the page, enter a label for your reCAPTCHA and select the Score based (v3) checkbox. Then add the URL for your site in the Domain section. Accept the terms of service and click Submit. Google will then generate a Site Key and a Secret Key. Be sure to store these keys, as you will need them later.

Step 3: Inset the keys in WholesaleX addons

Now that you have the necessary keys, you can use reCAPTCHA in your WholesaleX store. To do this, go to the WordPress Dashboard and select WholesaleX.

Then go to Addons and turn on the reCAPTCHA tab. It will open an interface where you can insert your stored Site Key and Secret Key. Click Save Changes after you’re done.

You must keep activated the reCAPTCHA option in WholesaleX. You can further change or update the key by clicking the gear icon on the tab.
